Ray White drought appeal- How can you help?

By Kaitlin Bennet

Drought is a natural occurrence of life. Unfortunately for some, it effects their whole lives. Last March Goondiwindi was declared to be in drought. Safe to say it’s been a rough two years for Goondiwindi’s economy including our farmers, and all that surrounds us.

Fortunately, our beautiful town was drenched with glorious rain over Christmas, but it doesn’t mean we are fully in the clear. Some surrounding areas still have had nothing.

That’s where Buy A Bale comes in, and Ray White are supporting the Buy A Bale drought appeal. It’s a simple and fantastic way of supporting drought effected families. All you have to do is jump on to the buyabale.com.au website and donate a bale, or contribute money for families to buy essentials such as food.

If you have a farm that needs support, you can register your farm to be a receiver of the bales.

It’s a great cause that is close to home for so many locals, so why not. Even $20.00 will do, every cent counts!!
