Complaint of engine losing coolant from radiator overflow and oil substance in radiator. Bottle test cooling system and found combustion gases entering cooling system.
Raise cabin and remove necessary components.
Drain remaining coolant.
Remove cylinder head and inspect.
Cylinder head cracked on #3 and #4 locations.
Remove engine oil cooler and test. Oil cooler U/S.
Replace oil cooler with new.
Clean block and measure liner protrusions . Within specifications.
Tap out bolt hole threads and thoroughly clean block and components.
Transfer components onto aftermarket cylinder head. Clean camshaft and install.
Buff cylinder head bolts and install paste. Tension cylinder head.
Time camshaft and replace worn idler gear bushing.
Measure and adjust camshaft gear backlash and recheck timing.
Clean and reseal injectors. Install and tension.
Clean rocker shafts and rockers. install and tension.
Install and tension Jake brake housings.
Check and set all valve clearances, Jake brake settings and injector dimensions.
Install exhaust manifold with new mounting hardware.
Check and adjust turbo wastegate travel. Install turbo.
Replace necessary coolant lines and hoses etc.
Replace thermostats.
Replace rocker cover seals and hold down bolts.
Run engine and flush cooling system. Refill with new engine coolant.
Pressure wash engine compartment.
Paint cylinder head. OK.

- Remove and replace King Pins
- Replace air valve in rear chassis
- Replace exhaust holders on rear of cab
- Remove and replace exhaust flex and clamps rear RHS of cab

FAULT - Apparent Oil in water
FAULT - Trucking moving around a lot, hard to steer
- Jack cab and remove radiator cap, inspect neck of radiator, FOUND a glitter type oil film.
- Suspect Chemi-weld has been put in cooling system at some stage
- Remove drain bung on radiator, found NIL evidence of oil
- Remove coolant and flush cooling system with fleet guard radiator flush
- Refill with NEW CAT coolant
- Remove and replace 3x fuel hoses due to excessive sweating
- Inspect all track rod bushes and Air glide 460 suspension bushes, found excessive movement in all air glide 460 bushes
- Remove and replace 1x PPV valve on wet tank, due to leaking around top hat

- Remove and replace lower sway bar saddle bushes in air glide 460 suspension

FAULT - a/c blower motor intermittent
- Inspect all fuses and relay - OK
- Remove dash on both drivers and passengers' sides, carry out continuity test, found several rubbed wires
- Remove and replace accordingly, test OK
- Refit dash
